The art of handcraft

Romanelli’s products are all made in Florence, and each object is born from careful study so that it is both elegant and functional.

From the streets of Florence,
a timeless craftsmanship.

The Romanelli brand was born from the expert hands of craftsmen who, in the Chianti hills, tanned leather for Florence companies as early as the late 1920s. 1961 marked the year when one of these tanners, Giampaolo Romanelli, founded the eponymous fur company.

His great passion for this trade allowed his sons Stefano and Luca to add to the ancient family business the processing of genuine Italian vegetable tanned Cowhide treated and worked entirely by hand, rediscovering the value of the tradition of vegetable tanning.

CRAFTSMAN'S KNOWLEDGE

Over time, the Romanelli brand has specialised in the production of items in the finest leathers such as crocodile and ostrich, but also in other lesser-known but equally fascinating and beautiful leathers such as elephant.

The constant search for quality, materials and attention to detail have ensured that this reality has now reached its fourth generation, combining tradition and innovation with wisdom and mastery, while still placing handmade, product exclusivity and Made in Italy as a fixed point.
